Sesame Lane North Lakes McLennan Court

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Sesame Lane McLennan Court our vision for reconciliation is nurturing a vibrant and connected community that welcomes all its members and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We are committed to working closely with children, families, the local community, each other and the Gubbi Gubbi people and their Elders to make this vision an embedded practice with in our Centre.

We will continue to actively recognise and instil an understanding of the Traditional Owners of Country, it’s First People. Our vision for reconciliation entails coming together to build an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders histories, cultures and rights, and valuing and recognising these as part of a shared national identity, resulting in national unity.
