Our vision for reconciliation is to respectfully share our growing understanding and learnings about Australia's First Nations peoples and to actively acknowledge the importance of partnerships and relationships between ourselves, the wider community and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
As a Campus we will strongly promote and include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives into our curriculum and respectfully engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to create an environment that honours and integrates Australia's First Peoples’ cultures into our Early Childhood learning environment.
We are committed to providing opportunities for staff's professional development to support embedding meaningful and authentic reconciliation actions into our practice and to ensure we foster opportunities to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures within the wider community.
We will continue to provide opportunities for the children and families at our campus to engage in experiences and relationships that will support them in developing deeper understandings of, and connections with, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, while supporting and developing the important skills of actively listening to the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
