Our vision for reconciliation, in context of our service, is to provide a service that focuses on respect, ongoing learning, social justice and collaboration in a way that is relevant and appropriate for our children, their families, fellow educators and our community. We hope to address unconscious bias with both our educators and children to ensure an emotionally and physically safe, joyful, collaborative, just environment for all. We insist on accountability for our words, actions, interactions and modelling reconciliation in practice to ensure it lives in the hearts and minds of the young people we spend our days with. Through active cultural responsiveness .we aim to inspire a generation of Australians to acknowledge past mistakes, feel proud of individual cultural heritages and plan for a future as one united nation. We hope to learn from mistakes in the past, to challenge present injustices and to be part of creating a stronger, united future for all Australians.
