Our vision for reconciliation is to create a culturally responsive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that honours all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly the Whadjuk Noongar people, and deeply respects their cultures, histories, and perspectives.
At Great Beginnings Aveley, we acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live, learn, and work, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
Embedded in our daily practice are actions that support belonging and foster understanding of and respect, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We understand that reconciliation is an ongoing journey that requires reflection, honesty, and action. Through our Reconciliation Action Plane strive to contribute to a more just, equitable, and reconciled future for our children, families, and community.
