The Edithvale Family and Children's Centre’s vision for reconciliation is to have a unified community through respecting and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. The service will continue to provide a culturally safe and responsive space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators, families, and children in which they can reach their full potential.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan is our formal commitment to respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, perspectives and heritages through the teaching and learning that happens in our service. We acknowledge the significant relationship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with Country and are committed to educating the community, including our staff, families, and children, through advocacy, inclusive policies, and programs.
