Our vision for reconciliation at Casa Bambini South Plympton aims to build meaningful relationships between the children, families, the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the larger community.
As educators we have a responsibility to educate ourselves, children, families and the wider community about the true histories of Australia and the histories, cultures and viewpoints of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
We value the importance of learning about the past and the impacts of colonisation and finding ways forward in a united future. We welcome the chance for the children, families and educators to respectfully embed the histories, cultures, language and perspectives of the Traditional Landowners of the Land in which we work and grow
