C&K Crestmead Community Kindergarten's Vision for reconciliation is of a connected community that recognises and respects the diversity of the many cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will draw strength from within our kindergarten community and work in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and the wider community to develop understanding and respectfully implement Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday schooling life.
Our kindergarten is committed to actively including the voices, cultures and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through partnerships, consultation and collaboration.
We acknowledge and understand that reconciliation is everybody’s responsibility. We will succeed through creating innovative ways of engaging and empowering staff and students from all backgrounds to build stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, benefiting all Australians.
