Atherton Community Kindergarten aims to create a learning environment that is welcoming to all and respectfully embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives within its learning, partnerships and everyday life. We hope to be an organisation that facilitates learning about Australia's First Peoples. We hope through this learning, children and their families will grow in understanding and create a future Australia that takes pride in its cultural heritage. We sincerely want to develop more meaningful relationships with local Yidinji people and we would welcome their contribution in the children's learning and being part of our learning community.
