Our Pre-School continues to dedicate itself to expanding our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures. At Yass Montessori Pre-School we endeavour to include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our service's practices, through engagement with local First Nations peoples.
It is our vision for the future to enable pre-school children to make their own connections with Country, by participating in Pre-School sessions on Country and learning about shared histories in partnership with First Nations community members and engaging in respectful relationships.
