At Flynn Early Childhood Education Centre, we actively recognise and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First Peoples and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land that we are on today. Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that actively embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians. We understand our role of advocacy, and the importance of sharing our reconciliation journey with both present and future generations. We value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and will continue to promote this through our connections with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, meaningful conversations, fairness, and the rituals and learning opportunities we provide in hope for a more reconciled Australia.
