Barangaroo Montessori Academy acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Land and believes in promoting equality and equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community and showing a commitment to reconciliation between Australia's First People and non-Indigenous people. 

Barangaroo Montessori Academy's vision for reconciliation is to enrich, encourage and to further educate all educators, children and families within the centre about the histories and cultures of Australia's First Nation People.

We are committed to equity, equality and actively challenge bias towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. 

We value diversity, and we will continue to develop our knowledge and foster positive attitudes towards all walks of life, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. 

We aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum planning in a respectful way.
