VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision at Lingalonga is to actively pay our respects to both the local and wider Traditional Custodians of this Land.  As we participate in ongoing reflective practices we strive to deepen our cultural understanding and embed a meaningful Aboriginal curriculum and daily routine across the Centre.  Through providing intentionally planned sensory explorations, including, but not limited to, songs, dance, dreamtime stories and visual arts, we aim to provide a culturally safe and inclusive early learning environment that respects and celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

By supporting educators to gain further knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures, past and present, we can respectfully pass this knowledge on to children and families in our care.
