VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Secret Harbour our vision for reconciliation is to have an inclusive environment that nurtures and values respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people.

The implementation of a RAP at the Centre is for all Children, Educators, Families and Community Partners to go on this journey of reconciliation, growth and strengthening relationships together.

 We strive to:

  • Acknowledge and recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, past, present and emerging.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship between Goodstart Early Learning Secret Harbour Educators and Families the with Whadjuk Noongar peoples.
  • Have an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, perspectives and histories are experienced, valued and respectfully embedded in daily practices, routines, and experiences.
  • Provide opportunities for all our Children, Educators and Families to celebrate and embrace each and others.
