Goodstart Secret Harbour

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our Vision for reconciliation is to have a Centre that nurtures and values respectful relationships between all Australians – especially between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and other Australians.   At Goodstart Early Learning Secret Harbour the implementation of a RAP is for all students, staff, parents and the wider community. Our aim is:

• To acknowledge and recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

• To acknowledge and develop relationship between Goodstart Early Learning Secret Harbour and the Whadjuk Noongar peoples.

• To have an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are experienced, valued and imbedded in daily practices, routines and experiences.

• To provide opportunities for all of our children to celebrate and embrace theirs and others heritage.
