Goodstart Parmelia’s vision for reconciliation is an ongoing process embedding reconciliation within the classroom, with families and the community. We understand the vital importance of reconciliation as it benefits all Australians. It is important as educators and as individuals to be able to come together, learn, share and respectfully embed First Nations peoples perspectives, histories and experiences within our service Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples. We endeavour to further reach out to Elders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to connect and strengthen relationships. We believe in equal and equitable education outcomes for all children, especially Frist Nations children and in providing a culturally responsive environment for all.
