VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our RAP is guided by a dedicated working group consisting of passionate educators from various cultures within our community. They are committed to advancing reconciliation and driving positive change within our organisation and beyond.

Our Vision for Reconciliation within our service outlines a clear path towards fostering reconciliation, respect, and a profound understanding within our service and the wider community. We are committed to incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, languages, and cultural practices into our curriculums, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and prioritizes the physical and mental well-being, as well as the learning outcomes, of all children.

Through ongoing collaboration, cultural competence training, and active engagement with our Indigenous communities, our vision aims to establish a solid foundation for reconciliation while contributing to a more equitable and just society for future generations.

We understand and acknowledge that reconciliation is a collective responsibility, and we firmly believe that everyone has a role to play in fostering a better understanding and working towards healing our community. Therefore, we are committed to creating opportunities for our center and its support networks to actively engage with reconciliation at both personal and professional levels. We will provide avenues for personal growth, reflection, and learning, as well as spaces for collaborative efforts to promote reconciliation within our community.
