Busy Bees at Spearwood

Busy Bees at Spearwoods’ vision for reconciliation is for children, educators and families to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and building respect towards the Traditional Custodians of the Land. This Land was and always will be Aboriginal Land. We will work towards co existing, cooperating and building respectful relationships between Australia's First People and the wider community.  Our service respectfully embeds First Nations perspectives, histories and heritages into our daily and yearly programs and practices. We pay our respects and acknowledge the Traditional Land Owners, the Noongar people each day. Our learning environments have resources around the room to raise awareness about  First Nations peoples’ histories, perspectives and cultures, which in our vision creates sense of belonging within our service.
