At Goodstart Armadale, we recognise children are our future and change starts with us though teaching children, educators and families about the true histories of Australia. Our vision is to respectfully embed teachings about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories throughout our curriculum, with a specific focus on the Whadjuk People as the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we work and teach.
We continue to build meaningful, reciprocal relationships and engage with local First Nations peoples with deep respect and understanding.
We are committed to supporting our teachers to be culturally aware and responsive to First Nations peoples, histories, perspectives and cultures and to respectfully embed these in meaningful ways into our practice and across our service.
