Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, and a national culture that represents equality, equity, historical acceptance of our shared history and removal of negative race relations.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds, and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships across the entire Australian community and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Reconciliation at Goodstart Tapping is being an inclusive and diverse early learning service that is not just culturally safe, but culturally rich and proud of Australia's First Peoples.
As the current and future generations of Australia within our centre, we are committed to supporting reconciliation through maintaining a sense of belonging for all children, families and educators in our service and through building strong and respectful relationships with local Elders, and First Nations communities, families, and children.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples knowledge and connections to the earth, lands, seas, skies, and community.
