Goodstart Early Learning Ocean Reef recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Custodians of the Land, and acknowledge the Oordalkalla people, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our early childhood services are offered. Goodstart Early Learning Ocean Reef is committed to building partnerships based on trust, respect We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as enduring, living cultures and we respect and value the cultural insights that we gain as we establish strong links between Goodstart and the children, families and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the wider communities with whom we work.

On a foundation of equality, equity, integrity and respect we aim to create high quality early years learning experiences for all children. Goodstart Ocean Reef commits to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians and supports closing the gap in education.
