Port Pirie Community Kindergarten's vision for reconciliation is for children, educators, families and community to work together to recognise, respect and value the Nukunu peoples' cultures, beliefs and knowledge and to recognise that they are the First Custodians of the Land that our Kindy is situated on.
This recognition, respect, and value will be reflected in respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our curriculum and pedagogy.
At PPCK we work to build respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community.
