At Strathalbyn Kindergarten;
•We acknowledge Reconciliation is about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people learning from, respecting each other and working together. •We will learn from First Nations peoples, actively listen to shared stories and do the work needed in sharing reconciliation at Kindergarten to build a better understanding and positive future for all children. •We will walk together with a ‘with us, not for us’ focus as we collaborate with local First Nations peoples in the planning of reconciliation action at Kindergarten. •We will work with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Kindergarten families, community members, visitors and performers as we share reconciliation values and experiences at Kindergarten. •We honour the First Peoples of this Land as we value acknowledgement of Country at Kindergarten. We will respectfully walk on Country, listening to stories and learning together.
