VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Murray Bridge World of Learning, we believe reconciliation is grounded in respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people.  We are committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with those in our centre and broader community, working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as we strengthen our knowledge and understanding to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives throughout our learning curriculum and daily practice. We acknowledge the importance of this for all children and adults.  We believe all children should have the opportunity to see themselves and their culture represented and valued, as well as feel empowered to reach their full learning potential.  We aim to continue to develop relationships with the Ngarrindjeri people and work in collaboration to provide opportunities for children, Educators and families to learn about Ngarrindjeri language and culture.
