Emu Community Children's Centre's vision is to provide a community which recognises and respects the cultural rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We aim to develop and enrich relationships, and embrace First Nation peoples' cultures, and respectfully embed First Nation perspectives into the Centre's curriculum and everyday learning.
We are committed to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous Australians. We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people bring knowledge and culture that will help shape the education of all.
We feel that it is important for all Australians to recognise and create meaningful connections and learn to celebrate, both our similarities and differences.
