At Goodstart Evanston Park we recognise and respect diversity amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all people, ensuring people can live together without judgement or exclusion. We develop our awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories and traditions, with a particular focus on Kaurna People and culture . We continue to work in respectful and trusting relationships with our children, families, local communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community, as we work together ework together towards reconciliation.  acknowledge First Nation peoples and We work to make our service a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families feel welcomed and respected. We will ensure our teaching pedagogies are appropriate to all of our families to ensure equal and equitable opportunities are included on our program and practices for everyone.
