Goodstart Early Learning Ingle Farm acknowledges the culture, histories, traditions and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the Traditional Custodians of Australia and we acknowledge and respect that our centre proudly stands on Kaurna Land.
As an Early Learning Centre, we strive to involve our children and families in quality early learning programs and education, and we pride ourselves in delivering cultural learning opportunities for children that are respectful and inclusive towards the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. We strongly believe that we can help our community gain a deep understanding and respect for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures by educating our young children and their families through our everyday reflections, embedded practices and connections with our local community in our journey towards reconciliation.
At Goodstart Early Learning Ingle Farm, we are striving for a future where our First Nation’s peoples are valued, and their knowledge, skills and points of view are encompassed in all aspects of our curriculum. We endeavour to ensure that our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families & community members feel a sense of connectedness, belonging and respect, within our service and within our wider community.
