Yungaburra Community Kindergarten

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We would like to know and learn more about our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We would like Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to feel that they are welcome here at Yungaburra Community Kindergarten and to know that we would like to respectfully learn about the local traditions, language, and stories. Through this, we hope to see a greater representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children within our service, and a greater appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and contributions across our service community. Together, as a group of children and teachers, we will take the next steps towards reconciliation by learning together.
