At Mayfield Brose Street, our vision for reconciliation is to strengthen our relationship with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and non-Indigenous community, taking the children and our team on a journey. This journey means embedding new practises, educating others, becoming harmonious with our local communities, and speaking out against racism and bias. Leadership and the Educators of our service recognise that this journey is ongoing and something to be continually worked towards. We aspire to be a place of comfort, security, and joy for everyone who walks through our door including our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and community members, with continuous rich community engagement and a deep cultural knowledge that we can share with our children.
