Our vision for reconciliation is to be an early learning service that actively embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all Australians. We are committed to fostering a culture of acceptance, respect, and understanding of our shared histories, while challenging and eliminating negative race relations through the development of genuine, respectful relationships with the local First Nations community.
Within the context of our early learning service, reconciliation means ensuring equal and equitable education and wellbeing outcomes for all children, families, and staff in particular with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of our centre. We strive to create an inclusive workplace that is not only culturally safe, but culturally rich, reflective, and proud where diversity is celebrated and all voices are respected.
