At Bella Grace Brightwater, we believe children are born with enquiring minds, are eager to learn and respond to an environment that is safe, supportive and free from prejudice and discrimination.
Bella Grace Early Learning acknowledge and recognise that teaching and learning has taken place on Country for over 60,000 years and that connected learning and practice is a part of our reconciliation journey.
Respectfully including First Nations perspectives into our daily routines and events and recognising the Gubbi Gubbi people as the Traditional Owners of the Past, Present and Future, helps us to teach our awareness of First Nation peoples’ histories and cultures and enables an ongoing connection with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the Bella Grace Early Learning community.
Embracing the uniqueness of our surroundings, the waterways, the ocean, the mountains, bushlands and rain forests, will cultivate children's knowledge and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures.
