Goodstart Benowa

Goodstart Benowa’s vision for reconciliation is to provide and promote an inclusive environment that acknowledges, respects and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ongoing histories, cultures, and heritages.  

We actively acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Custodians of the Lands across Australia on which we meet. We  respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives and valued ways of knowing and learning within our programs and practices. 

By continuously building our cultural responsiveness through education, reflection, and openness, we strive to gain a deeper understanding of the rich histories and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  

Through the development of meaningful, respectful, and genuine relationships with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, we aim to promote reconciliation, equality, and equity throughout Goodstart Benowa’s community.
