At Canopy Education Ormiston, we envision a future where the rich cultures, histories, and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respected and integrated into the fabric of our learning community. Our vision is to create a culturally safe space within Canopy Education Ormistion, where all children, educators, and community members are encouraged to respectfully learn about, engage with, and  honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. Through relationships with local First Nations community members, strive to empower our educators with the knowledge and resources necessary to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives authentically within our curriculum, ensuring that every child experiences a connected and enriched education that reflects the true diversity of our nation. 

Motivated by the principles of respect, recognition, and relationship-building, we aim to cultivate meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We believe that reconciliation is a shared journey that requires ongoing dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
