At Penguin Early Education, reconciliation is a heartfelt journey of respect, connection, and learning. We recognise the enduring connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the land, waters, and skies, and we honour their knowledge, cultures, and histories. Our centre is embedding reconciliation in education and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories and perspectives through our daily routines, practices, learning environments and visual displays. Reconciliation to us means walking together with First Nations communities, listening deeply, learning truthfully, and growing together in unity. It is through these relationships that we foster a space where all children feel safe, valued, and proud of the diverse Country they grow upon.
