St Mark’s Lutheran Early Learning Centre recognise the historical and ongoing injustices towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise that we have a lot of learning to do, changes to be made, and work to be done for a reconciled future.
As a team, we are dedicated to taking positive steps forwards to increase our knowledge and share these learnings with the current and next generations of Australian’s. We hope to start forming meaningful relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
We aim to meaningfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into the everyday lives of the staff and children at the centre.
Throughout this process, we endevour to show respect, equity and equality to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples past, present and future.
