Goodstart Middle Park's vision for reconciliation is the continuation of learning for both staff and children, to enhance our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures, and true histories in a way that is respectful and embedded in a non-tokenistic way. We are dedicated to incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our practice and programs. We recognise and acknowledge significant events that inform us of the past but help to educate and guide us to a reconciled future, which will be based on the respectful relationships our centre maintains with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
