We are committed to delivering education and care that is culturally safe, inclusive and welcoming to all families. We will continue to meaningfully and respectfully embed First Nations cultures and perspectives into our curriculum and pedagogical approaches, drawing strength from our existing knowledge and continue to seek further connections to Country, our broader communities, children and families. We will continually reflect on how we are delivering an education program that is committed to respectful partnerships, and meaningfully engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories.
Through inclusive practices, the children, families, and educators will learn more about the Traditional Custodians of this Land the Turrbal and Yuggera Peoples. Through these practices we will explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ connections to the Land, developing a deeper appreciation for our natural environments and how we need to care for them.
