We believe in acknowledging and teaching, through play, the true histories of Australia to promote a sense of understanding of connection with and respect for First Nations peoples, and the Land which we care for and learn and play. We will recognise and respect the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. This is part of our shared journey to work towards a connected,  respectful and reconciled society.  As an organisation, we are committed to raising awareness about reconciliation, with the goal of encouraging all people in the broader community to embrace reconciliation and work towards reparation and healing relationships with Lands First Peoples. We will demonstrate this through gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ways of knowing and learning and respectfully reflecting that knowledge at all levels of our service practices and curriculum. We will continue improving access to our service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and developing genuine, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities to create a sense security of belonging for all in our community.
