VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We believe reconciliation is a shared journey that begins with listening, learning, and acting. It means acknowledging the truths of our history, understanding ongoing injustices, and working together to create a fairer, more inclusive future.   We are committed to nurturing every childs understanding and appreciation of Australias First Peoples through experiences grounded in respect, cultural celebration, and truth-telling. Our approach includes: embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum, stories, songs, language, art, and play; fostering safe, inclusive spaces where cultural diversity is celebrated; and reflecting on our own practices to continuously learn and grow.   Through our work, we aim to build connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and model empathy, integrity, and courage.   Our vision is to create a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are not only respected but actively embedded, celebrated, and honoured, helping shape a future where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
