Our vision for reconciliation is for Goodstart Strathfieldsaye and our community to embrace unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians, and to embody equality, equity and historical acceptance of our shared history and the removal of negative race relations.
Here at Goodstart Strathfieldsaye we continue our commitment to learning and walking together with First Nations peoples to ensure that we respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in all that we do. This will help foster a strong sense of belonging for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families whilst actively valuing the central role First Nations cultures continue to play in the community.
Goodstart Early Learning Strathfieldsaye also acknowledges the advantages and benefits that can result from reconciliation with opportunities for equality, equity and positive race relations for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, which can enhance learning experiences for First Nations children and families at our service.
