Our vision for reconciliation at Ray Street Children's Centre is to build respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community for better inclusion, education and social outcomes for all Australians. We acknowledge that the Dja Dja Wurrung people are the Traditional Custodians of this Land that we use to learn and play and we will continue to actively value the perspectives and contributions of Dja Dja Wurrung people as part of our educational curriculum within our centre. We aim to work collaboratively with and involve the Dja Dja Wurrung people to respectfully embed Dja Dja Wurrung peoples perspectives within our centre and program and build mutual and trusting relationships to continue the ongoing recognition of First Nations Peoples and cultures.
