Our vision for reconciliation is to continue to foster an inclusive environment for the staff, children, parents and the community of not only the Macedon Early Learning Centre but the wider Macedon Community. We are committed to strengthening knowledge and understanding of the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our Centre stands, and of the backgrounds and aspirations of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families who attend our service. In our ongoing commitment to this goal, we will continue to use our Reconciliation Action Plan to guide the ways we better ourselves, our knowledge and our service. We will ensure out learning environments have purpose and commit to strengthening ties and partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and community members. We will continue to embed inclusive learning opportunities and experiences within each of our four rooms and throughout our centre that benefit all children by actively promoting respect for diversity, including the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives.
