Aussie Kindies Early Learning Centre Bacchus Marsh acknowledges and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultural histories, heritages, and traditions.
Our vision is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are actively recognised as the First Peoples of Australia, where all Australians embrace Elders past, present, and emerging for the wisdom and knowledge they hold, share and support emerging leaders in local communities. Aussie Kindies supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children, and families, to feel a sense of belonging and strong connections within our learning centre and broader community. We strive to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultural identities are respected and that all children are recognised and nurtured as the creators, thinkers, and actors of today and tomorrow. We aim to use meaningful ways to respectfully embed the values of reconciliation in everything we do.
We have woven respect for the Traditional Custodians of the Land and First Peoples of Australia into everything we do, ensuring we are building respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader Australian community, based on equity, equality and social justice.
It is our aim to embed respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the future generations which we educate and care for, as well as our educators and families and learning community.
