We commit ourselves to continuing our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities and to provide a welcoming and culturally safe environment where respectful relationships and reconciliation are supported. Together we will build a community of learners that acknowledge, value and actively engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and contributions to help build equal and equitable futures for all Australians.
Our reconciliation journey to date, has enabled all stakeholders including children, staff and families to develop their understanding of unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and all Australians. As part of the institutional integrity of our preschool we are continuing to deepen our understanding of equality and equity and acceptance of the true histories of our nation.
We are committed to our RAP Actions as a means of ongoing reflection, to drive our reconciliation journey.
