Our vision is to be a centre that continues to actively embrace the journey to reconciliation by respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and perspectives in our program, practices and principles, and by engaging our staff, teachers and educators, families, children and local communities in continuous learning towards cultural responsiveness. We create a safe space where everyone gathers at our learning space to learn, share and broaden our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. Goodstart Grovedale Torquay Road commits to building meaning relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We will seek opportunities to learn about and understand Australia's First Peoples' histories and perspectives.
