Windsor Community Children's Centre (WCCC) strives to ensure that mutually respectful relationships are created outside of our existing connections with local Boonwurrung/Bunurong Peoples. We commit to offer a supportive presence in the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We continue to educate and empower children, families, and educators to confidently advocate for Truth-telling and the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and perspectives into our practices. We strive for intentionality and accountability to be present in all aspects of programming, practices and policies and include respectful consultation with First Nations stakeholders. We thank those who have walked with us to ensure that their efforts are honoured and we continue their dedication in moving the process of reconciliation forward within our service and the broader early childhood sector.
