Our vision at Goodstart Mont Albert is to maintain an inclusive environment that respects and recognises the significance of Histories, Cultures, Perspectives and Contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We respectfully incorporate our learnings of their knowledge in our day-to-day activities within all our rooms where appropriate as a part of our shared National story and identity. To achieve this, we engage with integrity, generosity, and the willingness to embrace these practices while teaching our children daily.
We will continue to visibly respect and practice Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures and Perspectives within our centre, thereby increasing awareness among our children, families , staff and wider community.
Our educators are committed to their growth in understanding of reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and learning.
