Goodstart Mont Albert

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

As Goodstart Early Learning at Mont Albert our Reconciliation Action Plan acknowledges our responsibilities and outlines our commitment to reconciliation by working towards a culturally competent working environment - an environment that acknowledges and celebrates the unique place that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures hold in Australia.

This RAP allows us to celebrate and build on current partnerships and establish new ones. It is a reflection of our belief that reconciliation along with cultural awareness, safety and competency need to be embedded across the work we do at the service as well as in our work with education and care stakeholders and embed it throughout the centre.

The RAP has been developed with reference to the 5 dimensions of reconciliation:

Race Relations

Equality and Equity

Institutional Integrity

Unity

Historical Acceptance.
