Milestones' vision for reconciliation is to promote unity and respect between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. We will continue to strengthen partnerships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and through acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the Land, specifically the Wurundjeri people. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) aims to create an inclusive, respectful environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and children feel supported. Milestones are committed to embedding First Nations peoples perspectives in their everyday practices and fostering respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members. We advocate for the recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in state and federal constitutions and view reconciliation as an ongoing journey that acknowledges the truths of the past, understands the present, and embraces the future.
