We respect and acknowledge the important contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we work closely with the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Elders of the Kulin Nation. We are building strong and meaningful relationships with First Nations communities to guide our learning and growth.
Our vision for reconciliation is to help current and future generations develop a deeper understanding, respect, and appreciation of the diverse cultures and histories of First Nations peoples. We will continue to share our journey, progress, and commitment to reconciliation with our families and local community.
We respectfully include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives in our programs, daily activities, and centre environment. This supports social and cultural inclusion for everyone in our community. We understand how important it is to respectfully embed First Nations peoples cultures perspectives into our everyday practice, not just on special occasions.
Our team is committed to ongoing learning and reflection. We continue to educate ourselves so that First Nations peoples cultures, histories, and voices remain at the heart of our teaching and decision-making.
We strive to promote fairness, equality, and equity in our educational program. We provide a culturally safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where all children, families, and community members feel respected and valued.
