At Goodstart Moonee Ponds, our vision for reconciliation is to embrace equality, mutual respect, and understanding across all cultures and heritages within Australia. Our vision for reconciliation is grounded in an ongoing journey of learning, reflection, and growth. We are committed to building a culture of respect and inclusion, where the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are valued and respectfully embedded within our curriculum and pedagogy.     We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which our early learning services are offered. As we continue to deepen our understanding of First Nations peoples histories and cultures, we are actively working to strengthen our relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration. Our journey is far from complete. Respect for all cultures, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, is being intentionally woven into our practices, helping to shape a strong sense of identity and belonging for every child. Above all, we are embracing the process of change. Through collective reflection and action, we are moving forward together - acknowledging the true histories of Australia, actively engaging with reconciliation in education in the present, and contributing to a more inclusive, reconciled future for all.
