Goodstart Point Cook - Shaftsbury Boulevard’s vision is for a wholly inclusive learning space that respects and embraces the unique cultures, experiences and rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Goodstart Point Cook - Shaftsbury Boulevard is proud that our centre is on the Lands of the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation. We come together to support each other and demonstrate a space free of racism. Our vision is to embrace First Nations community members as we learn together within Bunurong Land, waterways and sky.
Our centre is actively working towards reconciliation as we embrace unity between the Bunurong people and other Australians by promoting equality and equity, truthful acceptance of our nation’s shared history, and removal of discrimination and negative race relations in all its forms. As a centre, we believe that reconciliation is about relationships, partnerships, active listening, respect and trust. Through our continued commitment to the reconciliation journey, we will strengthen the relationships between the wider Australian community and the Bunurong people of our local community, for the benefit of all Australians.
