Our vision at Goostart Point Cook The Strand, is to openly respect and acknowledge the unique connection that the Bunorong People have to the Land on which our centre is situated. We are committed to continuing to build and maintain genuine, respectful relationships with all children and families who attend our service. Through actively engaging with appropriate resources and experiences we continue to explore and respectfully embed First Nations perspectives, stories and histories into our curriculum.
Our vision is a future where First Nations peoples are actively recognised as being the First Nations people of Australia; where all Australians embrace the wisdom and knowledges that Elders hold about the needs of their people. We will continue to work with the Elders in our community to ensure they feel supported to meet the needs of the community.
